How Do Young People Realize the Value of Life?
The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China was successfully held this year. The report of the 20th National Congress of the CPC stated that the Party, with great responsibility and glorious missions, is committed to the great cause of the Chinese nation and the lofty goal of peace and development of mankind. It is imperative that all Party members shall never forget our original aspiration and founding mission, stay modest, prudent, and hard-working, and have the courage and ability to carry on the legacy of the fight for a better future. We must remain confident in our country, exhibit greater initiative, and write a magnificent chapter of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.
First of all, young people should set lofty ideals. Those who want to make great achievements must first set their goals. We can set our life goals, such as joining the army, fighting against the epidemic, becoming excellent teachers, or working in West China’s rural areas to help local development. We should establish lofty ideals and beliefs and constantly revise them to meet the country’s needs for talent. For example, as socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era, there is an increasing need for highly skilled technical personnel to break the monopoly on chips and core technologies held by foreign manufacturers. We should play our part to make scientific breakthroughs and enhance China’s comprehensive national strength.
Furthermore, as a young generation, we are the backbones of the country. To comply with the new requirements proposed in the report of the 20th National Congress, we should start with small things to become outstanding youngsters in the new era. We can break our long-term goals into small and practical tasks. For example, to become a manager of a multinational enterprise, bring China’s excellent traditional culture overseas, and strengthen economic exchanges between China and foreign countries, I should start with small tasks now and attend relevant courses at university, such as management and college English, read more international news, and learn more about the operation modes of multinational enterprises. I should also actively participate in corporate internships or improve my academic capabilities through postgraduate studies to realize my goal step by step.
Ultimately, we should establish correct values, firmly support the Party and the government, and devote ourselves to national rejuvenation. As young people, we should actively study the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics, establish correct values, and be patriotic, dedicated, honest, and friendly.
These are my thoughts about the report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. The revitalization of the Chinese nation requires the correct leadership of the Party and the joint efforts of all people, especially young people. I hope that all Chinese youths shall forge ahead and build China into a stronger and more prosperous country.
