My Vision of China’ s Blueprint for 2049
These years have witnessed the outstanding achievements of China’s rapid advancement and remarkable progress. China has not only accomplished many worldly feats for the benefit of people’s livelihood and ecological protection but has also made outstanding contributions to the development of poor countries in Africa and Latin America and world peace. Now, the 20th CPC National Congress has been held to summarize the achievements and lessons learned from the past and to set off on China’s new journey of building a modern socialist country in the new era. At this time of rejoicing, I want to depict my envision of China’s future in 2049.
Let’s start with China’s economic situation. In 2049, China will have fully modernized its socialist system and constructed a comprehensive society of common prosperity. On the one hand, in terms of urban and rural areas and industries, China will have built a national urban-rural model in which the agricultural, industrial, and service sectors go hand in hand and complement each other. It will help protect local interests and absorb advanced foreign experience and quality investment simultaneously. Consequently, urban residents can enjoy a rustic life in the countryside, and rural residents can convert surplus farming or small-scale processed products into profits as soon as possible. On the other hand, in terms of market establishment, the Communist Party of China will have fully built China into a large unified market. With highly mature big data technology, the high-efficient connection of production and consumption and accurate information transmission will guarantee the stable and high-speed operation of domestic and overseas consumer and investment markets. Hence, the government-controlled monetary and fiscal spheres can also operate flexibly based on these crucial achievements, thus enabling the implementation of more specific financial and budgetary policies and the government’s role in optimizing resource allocation and supervision and regulating economic order. As a result, the economic outlook for China in 2049 will be promising.
In addition, it is economic prosperity that will lay the foundation for a thriving people’s livelihood in 2049. Thus, with the return of Taiwan, China can practice democracy in the true sense of the word on the path to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Most importantly, by fully implementing the strategy of promoting science and education and the policy of mass entrepreneurship and innovation, high-quality employment for the people who need it will no longer be a problem. On this basis, people can enjoy the benefits of rapid economic development and fair distribution in a society with a highly sound legal system, thus significantly increasing their motivation and sense of happiness. In addition, the social welfare system and the quality education practice will have allowed China to produce a talented workforce, contributing to China’s leading place in science and technology. Finally, the significant improvements in high-tech infrastructures, such as diversified transportation routes and online access to medical care, will have facilitated people’s pursuit of a better life. Overall, China will be a world model for improving people’s livelihoods in 2049.
Lastly, with great power in hand, China will also fulfill the mission of a responsible member of the United Nations. With the Belt and Road Initiative, China will build a comprehensive network of high-speed railways to facilitate people’s travel in the context of globalization. Besides, China will continue to care for African countries that have been neglected under the tide of globalization with a humanitarian spirit, providing them with emergency supplies and helping them to improve local industries for economic prosperity. So, in 2049, China will be a role model in leading global democracy into a new journey.
The above is my vision for our future in 2049. I hope that as China marches forward, the Communist Party of China and the Chinese people will make my dreams come true for the benefit of the country and the world.
