中國共產(chǎn)黨第十九屆中央委員會第六次全體會議于2021年11月8日至11日在北京舉行。這是在中國共產(chǎn)黨成立100周年的重大歷史時刻，在中國開啟全面建設(shè)社會主義現(xiàn)代化國家新征程之際召開的一次具有里程碑意義的重要會議。為更好對外宣介黨的十九屆六中全會精神，中國外文局所屬當(dāng)代中國與世界研究院、中國翻譯研究院從《中國共產(chǎn)黨第十九屆中央委員會第六次全體會議公報》中梳理選取重點內(nèi)容，審定形成漢英對照，供業(yè)界及相關(guān)人員參考使用。
一個“根本問題”
全黨要牢記中國共產(chǎn)黨是什么、要干什么這個根本問題，把握歷史發(fā)展大勢，堅定理想信念，牢記初心使命，始終謙虛謹(jǐn)慎、不驕不躁、艱苦奮斗，不為任何風(fēng)險所懼，不為任何干擾所惑，決不在根本性問題上出現(xiàn)顛覆性錯誤，以咬定青山不放松的執(zhí)著奮力實現(xiàn)既定目標(biāo)，以行百里者半九十的清醒不懈推進(jìn)中華民族偉大復(fù)興。
Every member of the Communist Party of China should bear in mind what the Party is and what its mission is -- these are issues of fundamental importance that we must never lose sight of. We must have a precise grasp of historical trends, stand firm in our ideals
and convictions, and stay true to our Party’s founding mission. We must remain modest and prudent, guard against arrogance and rashness, and work hard. We must not be intimidated by any risks or led astray by any distractions, and we must be absolutely certain that we make no catastrophic mistakes on fundamental issues. With the determination to never let up until we reach our goals and the attitude that the last leg of the journey marks the halfway point only, we must make unremitting efforts to advance the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
兩個“確立”
習(xí)近平新時代中國特色社會主義思想是當(dāng)代中國馬克思主義、二十一世紀(jì)馬克思主義，是中華文化和中國精神的時代精華，實現(xiàn)了馬克思主義中國化新的飛躍。黨確立習(xí)近平同志黨中央的核心、全黨的核心地位，確立習(xí)近平新時代中國特色社會主義思想的指導(dǎo)地位，反映了全黨全軍全國各族人民共同心愿，對新時代黨和國家事業(yè)發(fā)展、對推進(jìn)中華民族偉大復(fù)興歷史進(jìn)程具有決定性意義。
Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era is the Marxism of contemporary China and of the 21st century. It embodies the best of the Chinese culture and ethos in our times and represents a new breakthrough in adapting Marxism to the Chinese context. The Party has established Xi Jinping’s core position on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole and defined the guiding role of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. This reflects the common will of the Party, the armed forces, and the Chinese people of all ethnic groups, and is of decisive significance for advancing the cause of the Party and the country in the new era and for driving forward the historic process of national rejuvenation.
三個“需要”
總結(jié)黨的百年奮斗重大成就和歷史經(jīng)驗，是在建黨百年歷史條件下開啟全面建設(shè)社會主義現(xiàn)代化國家新征程、在新時代堅持和發(fā)展中國特色社會主義的需要；總結(jié)黨的百年奮斗重大成就和歷史經(jīng)驗，是增強(qiáng)政治意識、大局意識、核心意識、看齊意識，堅定道路自信、理論自信、制度自信、文化自信，做到堅決維護(hù)習(xí)近平同志黨中央的核心、全黨的核心地位，堅決維護(hù)黨中央權(quán)威和集中統(tǒng)一領(lǐng)導(dǎo)，確保全黨步調(diào)一致向前進(jìn)的需要；總結(jié)黨的百年奮斗重大成就和歷史經(jīng)驗，是推進(jìn)黨的自我革命、提高全黨斗爭本領(lǐng)和應(yīng)對風(fēng)險挑戰(zhàn)能力、永葆黨的生機(jī)活力、團(tuán)結(jié)帶領(lǐng)全國各族人民為實現(xiàn)中華民族偉大復(fù)興的中國夢而繼續(xù)奮斗的需要。
A review of the Party’s major achievements and historical experience over the past century is necessary for for the following purposes:
—starting a new journey to build a modern socialist country in all respects in the historical context of the Party’s centenary;
—upholding and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era;
—strengthening our consciousness of the need to maintain political integrity, think in big-picture terms, follow the leadership core, and keep in alignment with the central Party leadership;
—enhancing our confidence in the path, theory, system, and culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics;
—resolutely upholding Xi Jinping’s core position on the Central Committee and in the Party as a whole and upholding the Central Committee’ authority and its centralized, unified leadership to ensure that all Party members act in unison;
—advancing the Party’s self-reform, building our fighting strength, strengthening our capacity to respond to risks and challenges, and maintaining our vigor and vitality; and
—uniting and leading the people in making continued efforts to realize the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation.
四次“宣告”
中國共產(chǎn)黨和中國人民以英勇頑強(qiáng)的奮斗向世界莊嚴(yán)宣告，中國人民從此站起來了，中華民族任人宰割、飽受欺凌的時代一去不復(fù)返了，中國發(fā)展從此開啟了新紀(jì)元。
Through tenacious struggle, the Party and the people showed the world that the Chinese people had stood up and the time in which the Chinese nation was subjected to abusing and bullying by others was gone and would never return. This marked the beginning of a new epoch in China’s development.
中國共產(chǎn)黨和中國人民以英勇頑強(qiáng)的奮斗向世界莊嚴(yán)宣告，中國人民不但善于破壞一個舊世界、也善于建設(shè)一個新世界，只有社會主義才能救中國，只有社會主義才能發(fā)展中國。
Through tenacious struggle, the Party and the people showed the world that the Chinese people were not only capable of dismantling the old world, but also of building a new one, that only socialism could save China, and that only socialism could develop China.
中國共產(chǎn)黨和中國人民以英勇頑強(qiáng)的奮斗向世界莊嚴(yán)宣告，改革開放是決定當(dāng)代中國前途命運的關(guān)鍵一招，中國特色社會主義道路是指引中國發(fā)展繁榮的正確道路，中國大踏步趕上了時代。
Through tenacious struggle, the Party and the people showed the world that reform and opening up was a crucial move in making China what it is today, that socialism with Chinese characteristics is the correct road that has led the country toward development and prosperity, and that China has caught up with the times in great strides.
中國共產(chǎn)黨和中國人民以英勇頑強(qiáng)的奮斗向世界莊嚴(yán)宣告，中華民族迎來了從站起來、富起來到強(qiáng)起來的偉大飛躍。
Through tenacious struggle, the Communist Party of China and the Chinese people have shown the world that the Chinese nation has achieved the tremendous transformation from standing up and growing prosperous to becoming strong.
四個“必須”
全黨必須堅持馬克思列寧主義、毛澤東思想、鄧小平理論、“三個代表”重要思想、科學(xué)發(fā)展觀，全面貫徹習(xí)近平新時代中國特色社會主義思想，用馬克思主義的立場、觀點、方法觀察時代、把握時代、引領(lǐng)時代，不斷深化對共產(chǎn)黨執(zhí)政規(guī)律、社會主義建設(shè)規(guī)律、人類社會發(fā)展規(guī)律的認(rèn)識。
The whole Party must uphold Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory, the Theory of Three Represents, and the Scientific Outlook on Development and fully implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. We must use Marxist positions, viewpoints, and methods to observe, understand, and steer the trends of the times, and constantly deepen our understanding of the laws underlying governance by a communist party, the building of socialism, and the development of human society.
必須堅持黨的基本理論、基本路線、基本方略，增強(qiáng)“四個意識”，堅定“四個自信”，做到“兩個維護(hù)”，堅持系統(tǒng)觀念，統(tǒng)籌推進(jìn)“五位一體”總體布局，協(xié)調(diào)推進(jìn)“四個全面”戰(zhàn)略布局，立足新發(fā)展階段、貫徹新發(fā)展理念、構(gòu)建新發(fā)展格局、推動高質(zhì)量發(fā)展，全面深化改革開放，促進(jìn)共同富裕，推進(jìn)科技自立自強(qiáng)，發(fā)展全過程人民民主，保證人民當(dāng)家作主，堅持全面依法治國，堅持社會主義核心價值體系，堅持在發(fā)展中保障和改善民生，堅持人與自然和諧共生，統(tǒng)籌發(fā)展和安全，加快國防和軍隊現(xiàn)代化，協(xié)同推進(jìn)人民富裕、國家強(qiáng)盛、中國美麗。
We must adhere to the basic theory, line, and policy of the Party; strengthen our consciousness of the need to maintain political integrity, think in big-picture terms, follow the leadership core, and keep in alignment with the central Party leadership; stay confident in the path, theory, system, and culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics; and uphold Xi Jinping’s core position on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole, and uphold the Central Committee’s authority and its centralized, unified leadership. We should continue to apply systems thinking and ensure coordinated implementation of the Five-Sphere Integrated Plan and the Four-Pronged Comprehensive Strategy. We need to ground our work in this new stage of development, apply the new development philosophy, foster a new pattern of development, and promote high-quality development. We should deepen reform and opening up across the board, promote common prosperity for all, and build up our country’s strength in science and technology. We should develop whole-process people’s democracy and ensure it is the people who run the country. We should continue to advance law-based governance in all respects, uphold the core socialist values, ensure and enhance people’s wellbeing in the course of development, and promote harmony between humanity and nature. We need to balance development and security imperatives, move faster to modernize national defense and the armed forces, and take well-coordinated steps toward making our people prosperous, our nation strong, and our country beautiful.
全黨必須永遠(yuǎn)保持同人民群眾的血肉聯(lián)系，踐行以人民為中心的發(fā)展思想，不斷實現(xiàn)好、維護(hù)好、發(fā)展好最廣大人民根本利益，團(tuán)結(jié)帶領(lǐng)全國各族人民不斷為美好生活而奮斗。
The entire Party must forever maintain close ties with the people and act in line with the people-centered philosophy of development, so as to better realize, safeguard, and advance the fundamental interests of the overwhelming majority of the people, and unite and lead the Chinese people in working ceaselessly for a better life.
全黨必須銘記生于憂患、死于安樂，常懷遠(yuǎn)慮、居安思危，繼續(xù)推進(jìn)新時代黨的建設(shè)新的偉大工程，堅持全面從嚴(yán)治黨，堅定不移推進(jìn)黨風(fēng)廉政建設(shè)和反腐敗斗爭，做到難不住、壓不垮，推動中國特色社會主義事業(yè)航船劈波斬浪、一往無前。
All Party members must keep in mind that one thrives in adversity and perishes in laxity, see things from a long-term, strategic perspective, and always remain mindful of potential dangers. We will continue to advance the great new project of Party building in the new era, exercise full and rigorous self-governance, and remain committed to improving Party conduct, upholding integrity, and combating corruption. We must be able to overcome all difficulties and withstand all pressures, and steer the great ship of socialism with Chinese characteristics to cleave the waves and sail ahead with unstoppable momentum.
五大“歷史意義”
黨的百年奮斗從根本上改變了中國人民的前途命運，中國人民徹底擺脫了被欺負(fù)、被壓迫、被奴役的命運，成為國家、社會和自己命運的主人，中國人民對美好生活的向往不斷變?yōu)楝F(xiàn)實。
The Party’s endeavors over the past century have fundamentally transformed the future of the Chinese people, who have been freed from bullying, oppression, and subjugation, become the masters of the country, of society, and of their own fate, and are now seeing their aspirations for a better life become a reality.
黨的百年奮斗開辟了實現(xiàn)中華民族偉大復(fù)興的正確道路，中國僅用幾十年時間就走完發(fā)達(dá)國家?guī)装倌曜哌^的工業(yè)化歷程，創(chuàng)造了經(jīng)濟(jì)快速發(fā)展和社會長期穩(wěn)定兩大奇跡。
The Party’s endeavors over the past century have opened up the right path for achieving rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, enabling China to complete a process of industrialization that took developed countries several centuries in the space of mere decades, and bringing about the two miracles of rapid economic growth and enduring social stability.
黨的百年奮斗展示了馬克思主義的強(qiáng)大生命力，馬克思主義的科學(xué)性和真理性在中國得到充分檢驗，馬克思主義的人民性和實踐性在中國得到充分貫徹，馬克思主義的開放性和時代性在中國得到充分彰顯。
The Party’s endeavors over the past century have demonstrated the strong vitality of Marxism. In China, Marxism has been fully tested as a scientific truth, its people-centered and practical nature has been fully implemented, and its open-ended nature and contemporary relevance have been fully demonstrated.
黨的百年奮斗深刻影響了世界歷史進(jìn)程，黨領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人民成功走出中國式現(xiàn)代化道路，創(chuàng)造了人類文明新形態(tài)，拓展了發(fā)展中國家走向現(xiàn)代化的途徑。
The Party’s endeavors over the past century have produced a profound influence on the course of world history. The Party has led the people in pioneering a uniquely Chinese path to modernization, creating a new model for human development, and expanding the channels for developing countries to achieve modernization.
黨的百年奮斗鍛造了走在時代前列的中國共產(chǎn)黨，形成了以偉大建黨精神為源頭的精神譜系，保持了黨的先進(jìn)性和純潔性，黨的執(zhí)政能力和領(lǐng)導(dǎo)水平不斷提高，中國共產(chǎn)黨無愧為偉大光榮正確的黨。
The Party’s endeavors over the past century have made the Party a forerunner of the times. The Party has developed a long line of inspiring principles originating from its great founding spirit, preserved its advanced nature and integrity, and kept improving its governance and leadership capacity. The Party has proved to be a great, glorious, and correct party.
